Fics like Putting the "Fun" Back in "Funeral"

"What do you mean, Clockwork?" Danny asked, abruptly standing from his throne. "I was literally crowned like all of five minutes ago and you're already trying to get rid of me?" "Nonsense, my King," the older ghost soothed. Clockwork was still serenely floating in front of the young half-ghost, a small smile gracing his blue face. "I am merely giving you two options - you can either go back into the realm you come from and inform your family and friends of your newly-gained influence, or you can take a... sabbatical, of sorts, and collect some artifacts from a different dimension. It would certainly give you some extra time to grow into your new role." Danny rolled his eyes, gesturing largely with his upper body. "Well, gee, Clocky. I just don't know how to say no to that."
