Fics like Zhongli and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good Very Bad Rocktastrophe

Childe follows Zhongli’s gaze to the table. The empty table. The empty table where Zhongli usually keeps his most prized chunk of cor lapis. “Ah, you’ve lost your rock, haven’t you?” “Lost?” Zhongli’s tail thumps harder. “It is difficult to entertain the notion that one might lose an object without removing it from its rightful domicile. My speculation is that it has been purloined while we were absent.” “Zhongli, are you saying someone stole your rock? Who in Archon's name is going to steal a rock?” “It was a rather lovely rock.” After a break-in at Childe and Zhongli's home, Zhongli's most prized piece of cor lapis is stolen. With a stretched-thin Millelith unable to investigate, a very sad ex-Archon is left mourning its absence. Fortunately, this isn't Childe's first brush with a little vigilante justice, and he sets out to catch the rock-thieves and return Zhongli's rock to its rightful owner.
