Chrissy wrinkles her nose, dropping her voice. “Is it true that it’s like some…cult? Do you guys worship satan?” She whispers, feeling extra foolish when Dustin laughs loudly. “Eddie wishes we were that cool!” He hollers. “No, it’s a game. You know, D&D?” Chrissy shakes her head. “Dungeons and dragons?” “Isn’t that a kids' game?” Dustin couldn’t look more offended if she’d slapped him across the face. “A kids-…no! No, no! It’s so much more than just a game. You know what, we’re playing tonight. You should come and see for yourself!” “Me?” She asks as if he’s suggested something impossible. It's not really her scene, she should say no, but the idea strikes a nerve. “Would I…be allowed?” “Definitely. Besides, Eddie loves showing off and he’s wrapping up this campaign.” Chrissy feels stuck. She needs a change, to try new things. She's always been fascinated by Eddie Munson, but a chance invite to a Hellfire game has her exploring a whole new side of herself that she didn't think could exist. Chrissy Cunningham: Nerd
