Fics like The Devil is Not as Dark...

“Doesn’t sound like I’ve got much of a choice.” Rais paused, unaware that he was holding Crane’s very life in a loose grip, and tilted his face to leer back at him. “Perceptive.” Before coming here, Rahim had told him “good luck” with the addendum that he was going to need it. For once, it seemed that wish had carried through, because Crane wasn’t immediately shot dead when fury overcame him just hard enough to mouth off, “Okay, great, because that’s going to cut it. What else do you want me to do while I’m at it, suck your dick?” (AKA: The Prison Wife AU, or if Robot Chicken/Dying Light had a lovechild. Bring tissues; you’ll need them for multiple reasons.) In another life, the 2014 Harran Quarantine ran in tune with the extremely violent hatred one man had for another. But love and hatred are two sides of the same coin, and in this life, all it takes is one sentence to change everything. Ishaq’s dumb prophecy says it—that Kyle Crane must take Rais's crown, or die. Well....a man has several to pick from, doesn't he? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)🍆 Dedicated to the best friends I could ask for.
