Fics like Forgive Me for Forgetting You

I love you, Kaveh thought, and vaguely noticed a shooting star in the sky. I wish that I could forget you. Kaveh wants the pain from his (apparently) unrequited love for Alhaitham to go away. Accidentally, his wish comes true. “You would’ve never called me Acting Grand Sage and meant it. Perhaps sarcastically, or mockingly, but never… never what you’re doing now. Like that’s all you see me as.” Alhaitham mourns someone who is still alive. Animated version of this story is now up on Youtube here!
