Fics like Here we go again, the two of us

Over the summer following Buffy’s death, Dawn tells Spike that maybe Buffy didn’t despise him as much as he thought. So, when she comes back and the Scoobies barge in, Spike stays. Told through a series of conversations between Spike and Dawn and flashbacks, then diverges from canon when Buffy returns from the dead.
