Fics like Sweetest Passions bring you 'Home'...freedom slowly leaves

In another world, Timothy Drake would find out that his literal heros lived next door from a flip he remembered from a tragic trip to the circus. In another world, the lonely Timothy Drake would soon become Robin after Jason Todd died, in an attempt to help Batman not meet the same tragic fate. This is not that world. What if just before Timothy Drake found out who Batman was, another entity took an interest in him? A dangerous entity? And Timothy, not one to be a victim at any age, learned how to fight back? Learned how to help others fight back? How would the story change? How would it be the same? Would it be Batman who saves all of his children, who gives them another chance at life? Or would it be Timothy Drake who brings together our Batfamily?
