Fics like Blanket Statement

The General pops out of the tent, scowling, and hurls a blanket- which Cody recognizes as one from the man's nest- sending a cloud of dust into the air when it lands. Skywalker winces, rubbing the back of his neck. Cody decides, abruptly, that he is too tired for this and will be spending the night in the medical tent. He is not quiet enough, obviously, because the General calls out, “Ah, Commander, you’re back! Apologies for all this,” he pauses to send another glare at his former Padawan, “I’ll be finished ridding the tent of foreign stench in a second, and the space will be all yours.” It is then that Cody realizes his entire life is a fucking joke. (or, Cody has never given much thought to things such as nesting and courting. This is, as it turns out, a mistake.)
