Fics like us, a cathedral

John isn’t a fucking idiot. He doesn’t hand the razor over, just lifts his own hand and then freezes when Arthur’s fingers circle his wrist delicately, guiding it on the next pass. It’s shakier this time; John can’t keep his fingers steady, all too aware of the pulse in his wrist and thumb and the touch of skin against his own. Not the novelty of it, but the strange intimacy of the contact, never mind that he and Arthur have been sharing a body and half-sharing a mind for months now. “Better.” Another swipe of his fingers, and John for a single, desperate second wishes he had Arthur’s throat too, just that swathe of skin, so he could know how it feels.
