Fics like The Cruelest Love in the World

In the summer of 1999, Obi-Wan's boyhood crush on his best friend's father turns into something more. If only he weren't dating his best friend at the same time. - “Let him pick out the chips, didn’t you?” Obi-Wan smiles wider. “I figured he could handle it.” Mr. Skywalker bends forward with a fist wedged against his thigh, conspiring like. His tight jeans whine when he does so. “How many shelves do you think he climbed to get them?” A sigh. Mr. Skywalker knows his son well. “At least two. Apparently there was a witness.” “Hey! You weren’t supposed to tell him.” Stormy eyes meet Obi-Wan’s for a split second. An entire, exasperated conversation passes between them with that one look. Obi-Wan realizes the significance, the electricity almost in real time. It takes his breath away, recognizing the silent conversation they just had for what it actually is. Obi-Wan clears his throat into his fist and tries to lurch away, to flee the intense stare still boring into him. But he’s rooted to the spot in the bubble of Mr. Skywalker’s cologne. It smells woodsy and musky. Like a man would smell, Obi-Wan reckons.
