Fics like But When He Holds You, Do You Feel Held?

“The boyfriend won’t be a problem.” Jin smoothes the front of his pajamas and leans a little closer to the screen. “Jiminie can barely stand him,”—at least, that’s been his impression—“by summertime he’ll be less than a footnote.” Namjoon sighs. He looks back down at the Jimin dossier that Jin put together, idly flipping through the remaining pages. “I mean, it’s a big one this year, Hyung. We can’t afford—it needs to go off perfectly.” “I know.” And he does. It’s the centennial this time. It’s big, and he wants Jimin to be there for it. “I know. But he’s got it, Joonie. He belongs with us.” --- Jimin wonders: What’s the difference between a cult and a family? If both hold you, care for you, bring you with loving arms into their pack? And really, what’s wrong with wanting that comfort for yourself? Even if this kind of love veers into obsession… Or: The Midsommar-inspired AU that everyone (me) asked for.
