Fics like in my hour of weakness, you were there to see my courage fail

"Frankly, Leo had never felt more like a child, not even when he actually had been one. But he was already there, and the thought of leaving Raph’s room—with the soft lamp-light driving away the shadows, an easy sunset yellow-orange that was most decidedly not red—and returning to the endless, spilling darkness that was the rest of the lair made something inside him writhe in a blind panic, vehemently protesting against the idea and making his next breath sharp and wheezy as it stuttered through his throat. Raph was safe. And so Leo, blanket still wrapped around his trembling form, hands white knuckled around the hems, carefully tiptoed over and climbed into Raph’s bed, just like he had used to when he was young, crawling under the massive blankets haphazardly strewn across his form and into the expanse of sturdy sheets." Leo has a certified Bad Time™. His brothers help.
