Fics like Time Heals All Wounds

Ultra-introvert Cora is happiest when left alone, so it feels like the end of the world when she wakes up surrounded by fictional strangers who worship her as an ancient island Goddess. After manifesting abilities that defy logic, Cora worries her new community will never stop asking for favors. . . like stopping a war by agreeing to an arranged marriage with a member of the enemy faction. Enter Benjamin Linus: cunning, charming, and more than willing to marry a deity for a myriad of personal reasons. Ben would like nothing more than to ensure Cora properly meets her people, understands her new responsibilities as Goddess, and maybe—just maybe—gets to know the real Benjamin Linus. In fact, he's been working tirelessly on a plan to win both her trust and affection. The only issue? Cora is in a near-constant state of burnout and wishes to remain on Hydra island, alone and unbothered. Awkwardness abounds as they start to gain feelings while simultaneously missing every romantic cue the other is giving. Neither one is particularly good at this whole "romance" thing, not that it matters. Their marriage is strictly political, after all. Isn’t it?
