Fics like Author's Notes

There are many speculations about the identity of the author of the cult-favorite Grave Robbers' Chronicles going by the pen name Xiao SanYe. Some say that he's probably a middle-aged man with a balding head, some say she is the daughter of a big company's CEO who has too much time on her hands, or 19 years old basement-dwelling college kid. No matter who he is, Zhang Qiling is determined to meet the author behind his favorite novel series and show his appreciation for his work dressed up as one of the characters in the novel. Unexpectedly, he finds his heart captured for the second time by the author, not through his works but with his beautiful brown eyes, rosy cheeks, and shriek. But Zhang Qiling knows better than to get ahead of himself. This isn't some self-insert 20k slow-burn fanfiction romance, after all. Or is it?
