Fics like Broken can be Fixed

Mages weren't considered human by the government, no matter if biology says that they are human. They were rare, even borderline extinct, so when Frisk sees a mage being sold at an auction, they felt repulsed by the action and wanted to help. They just didn't expect Papyrus or Sans to actually buy the mage to help them. But they should have expected the mage to be hurting severely at their core. They were determined to help and they were going to drag their friends into doing so.
