Fics like Gender.

Ian had always known they weren’t a boy. Even when they were as young as eight years old, they would cringe whenever someone called them ‘he.’ They didn’t know why at the time, but they did. Of course, fifteen years later, Ian had figured out why a shiver was sent down their spine whenever someone called them a ‘young man.’ They were non-binary. But that wasn’t common knowledge, not yet. They only used that label when they were alone, they’d correct people in their head when they misgendered them. It was a hidden part of themself. Ian strutted around their room in dresses, but as soon as they heard a knock on the door, it was shoved at the back of their closet. A fic set two years before Ben leaps! Essentially, I noticed a tattoo that Mason A Park had and ran with it.
