Fics like They want to go home, but nobody's home

After Alicent died giving birth to Aemond, Viserys went mad becoming abusive with his children. When Aegon was 8 years old and Aemond 4 years old, Ser Criston helped them escape to the only place where they would be safe: Dragonstone, under Rhaenyra’s care. The boys have an impossibly difficult healing journey ahead of them after the trauma they endured, but they are not alone anymore. It's not going to be easy, but their family will help them heal no matter what, trying to get the boys out of their shells. Both Aegon and Aemond are extremely traumatized after all those years, so it will be hard for them to trust anyone.
