Fics like The Tale of the Prince Tsukasa
Pride… Was he making his heavenly parents proud too by making people smile? Was he making Saki proud? Toya? His earth mother certainly was glowing, Tsukasa was drawn to it. Everything around him seemed to be warm and happy. What is this? What is this funny, happy feeling he gets from making other people smile? Satisfaction? Fulfillment? It feels… so familiar. Kanade yawns, using her free hand to rub her eyes. “What’d I miss?” Exactly, what is Tsukasa missing? Or The Elixir of Immortality is the only thing that can save Tsukasa's beloved sister, Saki, from extinguishing too early. However, the only place the Elixir could be found was on earth, in the possession of descendants of Kaguya-hime. Tsukasa, like the good older brother he strives to be, volunteers himself to go and retrieve it. Even if it means needing to become a human, with devastating thoughts and feelings and love for the earth, to do so.
