Fics like casey jones’s official guide to severed bonds and overly dependent ghosts

“Wh- Are you real?” Casey blurts, clumsy. Master Leonardo, whatever he is, does not respond. He’s somehow taller than Casey remembers, a smoking (is that where the smell came from?) thing that seems to shackle over himself, connecting fingers with dents. No matter how Master Leonardo bends, his blank eyes never leave Casey’s, neck bending in horrific ways just to keep the contact. A smokestack, a bleeding out ghost- Ghost. Ghost. His brain clings to the word. Ghost. Holy shit. /// Or, in which Casey Jones has to deal with being surrounded by ghosts of the sorta-kinda dead (and so forward). (Or, in which the author makes up mystic logistics and makes Casey a beacon between two worlds. This causes a little bit of overlap, and a lotta bit of grief.) (Haunted-Ghost au, baby!)
