Fics like A Labyrinth of Steel
Six months after the Great Twilight, Majors Rieveldt and Arundel discover an artifact in the Osgiliath Basin. Things get rapidly out of hand from there... In which Class VII, the Ironbloods, and various others encounter their very own recluse cube. Spoilers up to the end of CSIV, but I'm still trying to keep myself spoiler-free for anything after that--please don't spoil my fun by 'correcting' me in the comments. A 'well, actually,' is still a spoiler. For those who have played ahead, consider this a Pratchettian alternative trouser leg of time, designed primarily so I can have lots of fun making everyone banter their way through their trauma. Updates weekly, characters and tags will be updated as the story goes on. All Moon and Star doors can be read as standalones, but also form part of the overall jigsaw puzzle.
