Fics like definitely not friends

“There you go,” George puts on his best customer service voice, moving quickly to hand the stranger his drink, and it clicks when he notices a brightly-coloured braided bracelet on the man’s wrist. He’s wearing a few rings too, none that particularly stick out, but George would recognize that bracelet anywhere. There’s a matching blue-coloured one in a drawer in his desk that he tries not to think too much about but can never bear to get rid of. “Dream.” George blurts out the name before he has the chance to think it through. or; George and Dream grew up together, then grew apart. Somehow, they're lucky enough to get a second chance.
