Fics like GGO: War Games

Echoes of the «SAO Incident» continue even after the fall of Castle Aincrad. Death Gun wasn't the only ghost of SAO's past malingering in GGO, and with an unsettling discovery about its NPCs, the least of its mysteries. To this end, a coalition of former Clearers has been formed to dive back in, headed by a girl who'd thought she put her old moniker and connections to rest on Aincrad. Meanwhile, another girl who calls GGO her own home returns to finish something she started. And old wounds reopen as those who were thought lost are found again. Sinon knew nothing of SAO. Not the myriad tragedies, nor the stories that unfolded within. But after a chance encounter with Argo, the most shameless blabbermouth she has ever encountered, another unlikely friendship will form as they struggle on to put an end to what started so many years ago—in this "world of guns." (A tactical action and banter-focused story. Primarily canon compliant up to Alicization, with some influence taken from the games, movies, and the GGO: Alternative spinoff. Relevant tags and character list will be added and updated as applicable.)
