In 1978, Susan Mayfield marries George Munson instead of Neil Hargrove. In 1984, Eddie stumbles upon the tender moment between Steve and Nancy that night at Lover’s Lake. - Or: Eddie as Max’s stepbrother instead of Billy! Canon divergent in terms of relationships, semi-canon-compliant in terms of Upside Down. We start by following Eddie's (and Max’s) home life and events that lead up to their move to Hawkins in October 1984, the year in which King Steve's reign starts dwindling.
