Fics like HYPERTROPHY

Fei Du starts going to the gym, where an over-eager friend tries to get too close. No problem; Luo Wenzhou signs up too, so that he can bear witness to the most infuriating man on earth. In his head, Luo Wenzhou has already kicked Li Man off many mountains. Despite not being religious he prays and prays to a higher power that one day, he’ll get the opportunity to do it in real life. Like when Li Man tries to take a picture with Fei Du in one of the gym mirrors and Luo Wenzhou lurks in the back, glaring like a bogeyman and positioning himself in a manner that’s uncroppable. When Li Man posts it online, Luo Wenzhou’s presence is photoshopped out, and Fei Du laughs so hard he comes to tears. There is one cumulative moment though, where many a line is crossed by all parties involved— with the exception of Fei Du, of course, who remains the innocent one in all of this. Almost.
