Fics like take a slice

“But, that would be very rude and I’m not in the business of being an asshole—at least not today. So, let’s call it even. Five for me, five for you.” Steve nods his response. Amazed. Eddie courts the danger of decision with practiced efficiency. As if each of his twenty years has been spent solving repetitive puzzles of this measure and now he’s the expert. No voice in the back of his head to thrash around and threaten violence when he’s a seasoned pro. Steve breathes out competently for the first time in over six months. The shackles of indecision drop from his wrists and Eddie’s words massage the stinging burn. It’s intoxicating—Eddie’s authoritative energy. He wishes he could bottle it and sip from that very cup in all the moments that Eddie isn’t by his side to tell him what’s best. Or, Eddie soft doms Steve into taking care of himself after the events of vol 2 & it accidentally becomes more than just a one time thing
