Fics like Meet The Irizis

Irizi'ar'alani's parents are preparing to hold a party for her Grandfather's 90th Star Day when they get the news that she's bringing a friend home with her, a fact which delights them. Then she introduces her friend, who turns out to be from the family they are the biggest rivals with, which confounds them. He charms them all so much that the Irizi Family thinks he'd be a good candidate to recruit into their own ranks, and Ziara's parents can't help but wonder what the future would be like with Mitth'raw'nuru bound not only closer to the Irizi Family in general, but closer to Ziara's family in particular. In the end, Ziara and Thrawn determine that blood family might not be the closest form of family after all. Deepest thanks to NerdyDragon and WendyT for their beta reading of this piece for me, and love to ALL the kind people at The Write Way who have been so encouraging and helpful as I figure out my version of Chiss headcanon! ♥♥♥
