Fics like More than Just a Pretty Face

It shouldn't have bothered her more than it did. All of the Queens had recognisable portraits and were quite content reminiscing through the familiar artworks of their former selves. All except Katherine Howard. — Kitty reconciles her image (or lack thereof) with her own memories and thoughts of who she is, and what was meant to be a personal journey of healing and reminiscing is changed when something goes wrong during a performance of the MegaSix. After all, being a public figure on a successful and critically-acclaimed show has put her on the limelight once again, not so different from when she was at Henry’s court and was surrounded by watchful eyes, waiting for her to slip up so they could pounce. But Kitty, alongside the help and support of her new family, learns to take back control and to reassert her agency. She has a choice. And this time will be different.
