Adelaide Aurelia-Harriet Gyrfalcon known only in mysteries in recent peculiar tales; the woman with multiple peculiarities who vanished from all public knowledge at age 16. Captain Adelaide is known for being one of the best soldier her regiment has ever seen, helping a fellow soldier in a secret mission that threatens her peculiar lifestyle. Seeing war and death every day has its toll on a person, that doesn't change on whether someone is a normal or peculiar, it becomes hard to find a safe space, someone to accept you and all the horrors you carry with you no matter your ability. Adelaide hasn't known a safe space from the moment she was born. She hasn't had anyone she can call family since then either though the few teenagers in her regiment shes taken under her wing come close to that. But when they're all offered a home and safety on an island off the coastline of wales their love and safety comes in the form of a woman with rather bird like qualities. Adelaide struggles to trust her at first, the captain having her fair share of baggage that stopped her from opening up, but slowly but surely she lets her walls down, lets the mysterious headmistress in who, as it turns out, has a darker history of her own.
