Fics like Red is for Revenge

For a shiny to stop being shiny in the Coruscant Guard, they have to viciously cuss out their GAR batchmates (or something to that effect, at least). It's only at that point, after all, that the vod understands what it means to be a Corrie—that the vod'e in the GAR think just as little of the Guard as the galaxy thinks of the clones as a whole, and that the endless work and dehumanization and abuse is inescapable. It becomes a rite of passage, that initial hatred for the GAR, and the worse things get, the more that that hatred and the Corries' devotion to each other becomes all that keeps them going. Once, Fox's batch had been inseparable. But only Prime knew that Fox is defective—that he has Jetii-magic, and not an insignificant amount. By the time the Chancellor notices, what once was love has become hate; Fox has lost too many of his Corries to the GAR's hostility, and even more to the "cushy posting" they mock. It's when the Chancellor discovers that Fox is even more powerful than Skywalker, and realizes the use of an apprentice that has thousands of siblings ready to burn the galaxy for each other—the GAR and Jedi included—that things go from worse, to a nightmare that not even the Jedi could imagine.
