Fics like Taylir Ruyot—Preserving History

Master Yoda always said “Always in motion, is the future.” But what people didn’t understand was that the same thing could be said for the past. It is only the perception of events that have changed, and that perception is constantly changing and evolving. The future may always be in motion, but so is the past. Or, Obi-Wan gets picked for the Service Corps early on and gets to indulge his nerdy, history loving self and become an conservationist-in-training. Of course, being Obi, he insists that his first official assignment be on Mandalore. Jango and Myles had been hopelessly dancing about one another for years, and neither knew what it would take to finally break them of this endless cycle. Neither expected it to be an adorable baby jetii that awakens the deep rooted parental instinct every mandalorian has. Jaster wasn’t really ready to be a ba’buir. In the background, Yoda quietly despairs and Qui-Gon is oblivious.
