Fics like Growing love like flowers in the garden

He freezes at the sight of orange hair coming in their direction. The Janitor. He feels his stomach fall and the urge to run away and hide gets so much harder not to follow. The gears in his pocket stop their humming and stop moving, and he watches frozen with shocked eyes as the person comes up to them. “Uh-” He says loudly, ignoring the way El looks at him and grabs the closest person to him by the arm, the habit of saving his family and pulling them to safety, Scott. “Time to go.” The pair both with confused faces look around, Scott still being dragged, and see the man. They say something under their breaths as Owen runs to the best hiding spot he can find in the moment of panic, a bush. or, Owen and Scott hide in a bush while the Janitor searches for them. Owen thinks about danger and Scott. Ft. Eloise (EDIT: after owen's stream on 13/11 where he talked abt how he feels with canonical shipping in more detail i changed some stuff in the tags and story so it's even more platonic :) boundaries are important, everyone!)
