Fics like Hold Me Close, If You Dare

In many stories, Peter losing his family pushes him to be a stronger, better hero--but this isn't that story. Instead, the trauma of losing his aunt and uncle and being moved into the foster system leaves Peter unable to properly grieve or process his family's death, and all he's left with is fear, emptiness, and out-of-control powers that he has no idea how to use safely anymore. So he takes to the streets instead, where he can't hurt anyone anymore. Everyone, including himself, has given up on Peter Parker. Until Tony Stark and his family enters the equation, unwilling to let Peter be alone anymore.
