Fics like A Night out on the Town

Setting – New Bern in the 1780s. Lord John Grey has been a vampire for a number of years. He is living with his mortal companions, Jamie and Claire Fraser, protecting them as they provide him with shelter. The vampire Lestat de Lioncourt has left Europe for the New World and is making his way along the coast southwards. In the port town of Newbern (one word at the time) they meet. John Grey is there to look in on Fraser’s adopted son who is sinking into depression once more. What starts as a misunderstanding, ends up as a pleasurable and eye-opening night for the two vampires. It’s a typical one-night stand involving eating, drinking, mutual attraction and lust. Reposting as there may well be a sequel to this in the making ...
