Fics like Belonging

Aemond never intended to take Lucerys’ life. Even worse, he presents as an omega after his nephew’s untimely death. Omegas are rare in the Targaryen bloodline, and very valuable. Too bad that the Greens end up losing the support of the Stormlands, and a devastating civil war begins. With the Blacks winning and Aegon clearly unfit to rule, Rhaenyra and Daemon demand that Aemond and Vhagar be handed over to the Blacks. Meanwhile, Jacaerys has grown into his alpha blood during his time in Winterfell, returning to Dragonstone stronger and wiser. With Jacaerys seeking vengeance and Aemond expecting execution, the discovery that they are in fact to be mated and wed takes them both by surprise. Against all odds, their tragedy becomes an accidental love story. In which Jacaerys tries to do the right thing, and Aemond cannot come to terms with being loved. Now has art!
