Fics like There Are No Wolves in California

He takes the sandwich out of its container and is about to take the biggest bite out of it that the world’s ever seen when Stiles hears something. He doesn’t know what exactly he hears, whether it’s a strong gust of wind, a rustling of leaves, or the sounds of an animal. He doesn’t know, but whatever it is, it makes the hair at the back of his neck stand up in alert. Looking around, he initially doesn’t see anything, not even a deer which, let's be honest, it probably was. This is the woods after all. Then, the second before he’s about to go back to his sandwich, he sees it. It’s a fucking wolf. Now there are two things running through Stiles’ mind at this moment. One, holy fucking shit I’m about to be mauled to death by a wolf, and two, why the hell is there a wolf in California?
