Fics like two shorten the road
“Like I said, I’m the man who just saved you,” the stranger repeats, wrapping an arm around Barnaby’s waist when he almost slips on the ice again. The stranger flicks the front of his helmet up, revealing his face as he stares Barnaby down, exasperated. “You should really be more grateful.” ~~~ In a world where superheroes have corporate sponsors and are the stars of their own reality TV show, a new superhero team is born as the young hero Barnaby is assigned to be partners with Wild Tiger, a mysterious veteran who disappeared off the face of the planet 5 years ago just to return seemingly without explanation.
