Fics like Promise

Leon Kennedy has only just begun his mission to rescue Ashley Graham, the President’s daughter, in a backwater Spanish town when he sees a rusty blue Pontiac Ventura careen down the river. Saving the driver wasn’t part of the mission plan, but Leon is struck by just how… normal this man seems - what could have happened to lead him here? He makes it his mission to get Ashley, this man, and himself out of this town alive. James Sunderland wasn’t expecting to wake up after he drove into Lake Toluca in Silent Hill. He definitely wasn’t expecting to wake up in Spain after being dragged out of his sinking car by an attractive man. His punishment hadn’t been completed and it was continuing to haunt him, but he nevertheless finds himself drawing closer to this man. He wants to do everything he can to save his life from the horrors they face, even if it puts his own at risk. If he can save a life in exchange for his own, maybe he can finally feel at peace and repay his debt to Mary.
