Fics like Sons May Cry

A year after discovering Nero, Vergil continues to try to make a life for them in Fortuna. He finally feels like he's making progress in his relationship with Nero and getting a handle on raising a child. Things are looking up for both father and son. But Vergil has long known that nothing stays good forever. A strained relationship with Dante, growing demonic activity in the area, and the reappearance of an old foe threaten Vergil's quiet life. As he begins a reluctant investigation with Lady into the demonic activity, he realizes that he and Nero are not as safe as they had thought. (Part 2 to Fathers May Cry)
