Fics like The Great Dragon

Twenty-one years of war between King Uther and the dragonlord Balinor have brought nothing but bloodshed to Camelot. But there is hope: A prophecy speaks of The Great Dragon, a mighty warrior destined to bring peace to the lands. Merlin isn’t so sure he is up to fulfilling such a great destiny, though he wants nothing more than to see this conflict end. When Merlin manages to capture Arthur Pendragon, heir of the enemy, he sees a chance to seek reconciliation between the two sides. But between protecting a prejudiced Arthur, standing up to Balinor and struggling with his own identity as prophesied saviour, Merlin soon fears he might have taken on an insurmountable task. Meanwhile, prisoner of war Arthur simply can’t seem to fathom the young dragonlord out and remains skeptical about his good intentions. The divide between the two sides runs deep, but destiny might yet find a way to make friends out of enemies…
