After the Kraang attack, Leo is stuck bedridden in order to focus on healing. Going crazy with boredom, he one day stumbles upon a new Disney movie entitled Encanto. Intrigued by the familiar concept of a hidden home and family with magic powers, Leo eagerly begins to watch. What he didn't expect was having to face his own family's issues through the screen, and rather than sharing the film with his brothers and working through their issues together, Leo decides to take up the burden of healing his family on his own. As expected, this does not go well.
