Fics like According to Murphy's Paw

Murphy's Law - Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong. The HPSC has been experimenting on several quirked animals in secret. Two of them, both Canadian Lynxes, have managed to escape. To get them back, the HPSC has been sending heroes after them with the lie that they are villains. They hid the fact that these Lynxes are animals, not people, and that they’ve been experimenting on them illegally. Pro Hero Eraserhead winds up being the hero to find them but with how his quirk works, he was able to figure out that they were animals, not people. Although he is still unaware that they were previously held captive by the HPSC and experimented on, he does realize that the HPSC hunting down quirked animals can’t be for any good reason. He contacts Nezu about bringing them to UA for protection. Nezu, of course, agrees. But the lynxes are understandably wary of everyone. Can he earn their trust and unravel their mysteries while keeping them safe?
