Fics like Gone

If we are the sum total of all our memories and experiences, who would we be without them? After Alex is involved in an incident on her way home, she is about to find out. When she wakes up to a whole life she has no memory of, and which has now been altered irrevocably, a lot of work is needed to deal with the fallout. As someone who has never been known for healthy coping mechanisms, this is a big ask. But…if you don’t remember who you were, can you learn to be someone different? Pretty much AU as while this draws from the main beats of cannon, Alex’s history gets a hefty rewrite.
