Fics like Promise Me That You'll Start Where I End

When Nico comes back from a quick shadow travel looking cold, shaken, and terrified, it's up to Will to figure out how to help. As it turns out, this is pretty much the polar opposite of an easy task. (Inspired by this incredible TikTok by kenzierhi and the frankly absurd number of commenters who asked me to link them to this fic when I finished it.) ---- “Are you okay?” Worry clouded over Will’s expression; he took a small step forward, trying to close the distance between them. He paused when Nico matched it with an even smaller step back toward the trees. “Yeah, I just —” His breath shuddered. He tried again. “Just can’t get warm.”
