Fics like The Onset of Symptoms (This Medication May Cause Blurred Vision)

He was in his apartment, he remembered making it there through a thick mental fog after a mission with the Titans. He remembered that he was exhausted after their last battle and someone, Cassie maybe, he thought, guided him through the Zeta and took him home. She'd tucked him into bed and left a bottle of water on his bedside table, leaving with an order to get some sleep and to call if he needed anything. He didn’t know how many days ago that was. He hadn’t moved. The bottle was still next to his bed; he'd only taken a few sips from it. In between bouts of restless sleep, he laid there and thought. His thoughts spiraled further and further down the longer he did. The one singular thought that started it was: Can’t even make yourself get out of bed. You’re useless like this. And if he couldn’t be useful, there was no point to him. ---- Something is very wrong with Tim.
