Fics like Metabolism May Vary

Tony has been on Peter's case to tell his aunt about his enhanced metabolism for months, because when he's home he never eats enough, but doesn't want her to worry about trying to buy more food. Peter finally gets up the courage, and May reacts predictably, but with a twist Peter wasn't expecting and isn't very happy about. ------- Part of the post-Homecoming series "Strands in the Rope," which attempts to show how Tony and Peter's relationship might have developed between Homecoming and Infinity War, but can stand alone, also. 2nd day of Whumptober (Backed Into a Corner/Confrontation) and of Flufftober #2(You've Told Your Parents?) and #3 (Thick as Thieves - though that was an accident) 2022
