Fics like My Policeman (with a twist)

They say that when you die in a dream, you die in real life. I can tell you that isn't true; because I died in a dream the night before I met him, and what happened to me was much stranger than that. “We can't go back,” I said. He patted my hand. Smiled a rather cool, amused smile. “Louis,” he said. “You're being ridiculous.” “Don't make me go back.” “ we should live here.” I mumbled. “ we should fly to the moon.” He whispered it so softly I would’ve missed it if I hadn’t already been focused on his lips. [ a my policeman parody where Louis is Patrick but works in a library instead of a museum and harry as our dear Tom and of course Eloise replacing Marion.] (p.s: I sneaked in some of my favorite parts of a book, some a little altered and some very obviously unchanged. just love the quotes, not taking credit for them. also, if you haven't already, go read my policeman by Bethan Roberts.)
