Fics like When the Weather Takes a Turn On You

“You okay, Tim?” Steph asks. She pulls back to look at him. The rush of ice on his body is physically painful the farther away she takes her body heat. “You’re shivering worse than me.” “F-Fine,” Tim says, his teeth chattering embarrassingly. He’d blush if he had any hot blood left in him. “Just chilly.” His eyelids have begun to droop, his body’s energy going entirely to the act of shivering. A nap too, he amends. Hot chocolate and a long, warm nap. Frowning, Steph presses her hand to Tim’s cheek. She jumps back, startled. “Jesus, Tim! You feel like ice.” That sounds about right; her hand felt like a hot iron against his skin. That probably isn’t normal, but Tim doesn’t have the capacity to ponder on that when she’s once again left him so cold.
