Fics like Thunder only happens when it's raining

Dewdrop has a standing lesson with Rain to try to help him learn to control his power. Copia ups it to twice a week once Rain starts getting sick with the unused magic. Things are looking up until it becomes clear that there are more feelings at play than either of them realized. Stunned into silence and staring at his hand for a moment, Rain suddenly lets out a wordless shout, turning on the spot and sloshing water onto both of them. Dewdrop can taste the thrill of adrenaline between them and it makes his heart pound. Dewdrop grabs Rain’s head in both hands and rattles his brain between his ears as he shakes him. “You water god!” he half-shouts. Rain laughs, grabbing onto his shoulders and tipping his head back, his eyes squinting shut against the sun as he does.
