Fics like A Box of Scraps

Bruce had always found it incredible how in the midst of the loose women, the drinking, the Iron Man suit and the invasion of the Chitauri, the world had somehow managed to miss that Tony Stark had solved global warming and the world energy crisis as almost an afterthought. He chuckled to himself. When it came down to it, the rest of them were good to varying degrees at punching things really hard. Add in the philanthropist part of the "Genius billionaire playboy philantropist" thing and it was enough to give a guy a complex. NOTE: I actually started this in 2012, so consider it an AU from the time of the first Avengers movie because it has been THOROUGHLY (and quite literally) Jossed.
