Fics like Toward Dawn

What will it take to leave a history of violence behind? Can two Lycoris live a normal life together? Can Chisato learn to be vulnerable and to love? Once Chisato has a new heart, she and Takina begin to slowly discover the answers to these questions. They find their way forward in their feelings for each other and begin to find something like normality in the seaside city of Kushiro. But the past is not so easily put to rest. They must face one last terrifying and violent challenge before they can truly move toward the dawn of a new life.
